Dr. SK. Mahbub Alam graduated from Rajshahi Medical College and achieved his professional degree MD (Neurology) from BSMMU. Afterwards, he moved to Malaysia for completing fellowship in Neuro-electrophysiology from University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is the first fellowship holder in Neuro electrophysiology in Bangladesh.
Dr. Mahbub started his career in BSMMU in Emergency department in 1999. At present he is working as Associate Professor of Neurology and Neuro-Electrophysiology in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) & he is a popular Electrophysiology teacher in Neuro-Electrophysiology.
Dr. Mahbub has attained advanced training and acquired the necessary expertise from different hospitals of Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey, South Korea and Japan as well as in Bangladesh to provide complete neurological treatment for the wide spectrum of neurological diseases. He becomes a potential Neurologist and Neuro-electrophysiologist at Square Hospitals Ltd.
