Dr. Suraya Akter graduated from Jahurul Islam Medical College & Hospital & completed her internship at Jahurul Islam Medical College & Hospital. After graduation, she aimed to work for child health. After that, she received training in general Paediatrics at Jahurul Islam Medical College & Hospital & Dhaka Shishu Hospital.
She obtained MD degree in General Paediatrics from Dhaka Shishu Hospital under BSMMU in July 2024. She has several publications in different national & international journals. She had attended several national & international workshops, seminars & conferences.
Dr. Suraya is children-friendly & dedicated to serving neonates, children & adolescents. Therefore, Dr. Suraya joined the Department of Pediatrics at Square Hospital in 2014. She is serving as a Specialist in the Department of Pediatrics.
